Cecil, a 13-year-old lion who was living on the Zimbabwean Reserve Hwange Park, was killed on July 1, 2015 by James Walter Palmer, a wealthy American dentist. The death of Cecil has raised many reactions around the world. This horrible act is one case among many that involve wealthy oil princes determined to feed their egos by depriving humankind of the beauty of some species.
