Stop biogas in Ontario No biogas su entrambe le sponde dell'oceano Atlantico

(24.07.13) In Ontario (Canada) vi sono diversi comitati che lottano contro le centrali a biogas. Questi cartelli di tipo stradale, bianchi e rossi e dipinti a mano, sono disseminati nelle campagne di Delhi dove la Erie Biogas Cogeneration and Organics Processing Inc vuole realizzare una biogas dove c'era una fabbrica di sottaceti. Sono state raccolte 2 mila firme. Il progetto è fermo ma per tenere desta l'attenzione della gente gli aderenti al comitato RAGE (Residents against green energy). La società proponente sta ancora aspettando l'autorizzazione del Ministero dell'ambiente ai sensi del Green Energy Act. Non è la prima volta che ci occupiamo di movimenti antibiogas nell'ONTARIO. Si dovrebbero promuovere dei gemellaggi tra comitati italiani (e tedeschi) e questi comitati di oltre atlantico che condividono così da vicino i nostri problemi pur essendo così lontani

Stop biogas on both sides of the Atlantic ocean

(24/07/13) In Ontario (Canada) there are several committees that are struggling against biogas plants. These red and white hand-painted signs, have been scattered in the countryside of Delhi Ontario. Here the Erie Biogas Cogeneration and Organics Processing Inc look forward buiding a biogas facility on the site of a former pickle factory. The committee in Delhi collected 2,000 signatures of residents opposing the plant. The project is at a standstill. The signs were conceived by the RAGE (Residents against green energy) in order to keep alive the attention of the residents. The company is still waiting for the authorization of the Ministry of the Environment under the Green Energy Act. It is not the first time that we deal with the antibiogas movements across Ontario. It could be a good idea twinning  Italian (and German) committees and these committees across the Atlantic since thet share so closely the same problems despite being so far away
